Checkout Heaven

Working on a checkout in a supermarket can be dull and boring sometimes. You are required to maintain a level of professionalism regardless of how you are feeling or how challenging a customer can be. But you have to take the good with the bad and sometimes the good can be an absolute joy, and that often comes from the customers. One of my funniest moments was when I served a father and his 4 year old daughter. Girl: "Hello, what's your name." Me: "I'm Paul." Girl: "How old are you?" Me: "Oh, I'm quite old." Girl: "How old are you." Me: "I'm 44." Girl: "You'll be in heaven soon."
