Bar Des Arts

On a recent trip to Guildford to see Martina, we relaxed in a rather arty cafe called Bar Des Arts. It's such a lovely place to be and the food and drink is very inexpensive. You almost want to stay all afternoon just to save the pennies. While we waited patiently for our coffees and cakes to arrive, I noticed a musical instrument in the corner. "Is that a harp?", I enquired. Martina roared with laughter. According to her it was either a cello or a double bass. Actually she was wrong. It wasn't a musical instrument at all. It opened up to be a CD case. I bet she feels silly now.
